Tosha Tawney: Report the crime and get a reference number for the crime. Contact the organisation responsible for licencing cars and ask them what to do. In the UK, if you have informed the DVLA that you have transferred ownership of the vehicle to someone else, I believe that you should not be receiving parking tickets since the transfer to someone else's name.
Elmo Tervo: Wrong: He is a crook. I have called him, he has a fake address and fake name. Only his phone is real. The DMV said the car is in my name until the real guy registers which he is not going to do.
Joie Libutti: Why do you refer to him as a "crook"? If you have reported the sale and have proof you no longer own the car any legal problems are his, not yours.
Cyndy Grimes: You must live in a state where the plate stays with the car, instead of going with the old owner.I would think the DMV should have taken care of the problem after you proved you sold the car the first time. Call the DMV! or state troopers and get your best answer from them. good luck
