Do you prefer older cars or newer cars?

Norma Marsalis: Older definitely, they had much more style and class to them. It was easy to identify a car's maker by looking at it rather than searching for the emblem like on newer cars (they all look the same).

Imogene Neiswander: I dont like newer cars, in my opinion they seem cheap since everything inside is plastic and has like a rounded look, plus they lock your doors automatically which bothers me, I always feel like I would die in the burning car since no one would be able to get me out! I dont like the look of any of them, except for mazda rx-8's, those are cool looking. Personally I prefer early 90's cars, my first car was a 93 nissan altima and I still have it after 14 years! I also own a 94 ealge talon, which I love driving. There are lots of the 90's models that look cool and they still run good and are fairly cheap, I have owned numerous cars from that time frame over the years, I liked all of them. Another reason I dont like newer cars is because of! airbags, im pretty short and the thought of a bomb going off right in my face scares me to death, most of my cars have not had them and instead they all have had those automatic seat belts which i think are the coolest thing ever since I never have had to buckle myself in, I can just get in and go without messing with putting a seatbelt on. Maybe someday ill change my mind about the newer cars but as long as my old clunkers keep running, I will keep driving them!...Show more

Adan Alipio: Newer - but I have a thing for the Love Bug.

Ileen Oshell: both are nice but since i'm here today then the newer

Miguel Koczela: I like really old cars, like from the 1930s.

Dionna Doyel: I like newer cars but the only old car I like is the mustang gt

Tyler Burkman: There is nothing like a 72 vette or a 70 mustang and a 69 Camero...don't even get me started

Ester Bryand: I like old muscles cars, weird cause I was thinking about this yesterday.

Samm! y Hatzenbihler: Ooh, LOVE cars from the early 70's, especially! great-big ones. Impala, Electra 225, Riviera, Newport, El Dorado. There's many more.Good Night!

Virgil Loatman: Older

Danica Timperman: I love classic cars, except classic muscle cars.

Brian Marquina: Definitely older cars..... particularly the old MG's. yummy, ripper looking machines if you ask me!!CHEERS♥

Frank Crummell: oh JOHN, do start......please doI know huh?i love classic Muscle cars....

Dionna Doyel: Older. Like old buicks and bentlys are so cool looking.

Ermelinda Stalnaker: My 1st car was a 66 Gto which stands for gas, tires and oil. Yes it was quick. My most unique was a factory souped up AMC product based on the Rebel. It was raked forward, better suspension, futuristic bucket seats, 390 with 340 hp. cherry red with a flat black hood. Functional wedge air intake with built in tachometer that opened and closed on idle with a clatter at stops, keeping time with the engine. Oh yeah it made you feel like hot stuff. In 69 when ! they came only in red white and blue as were all AMC muscle cars were their 1st. year.I got the solid color in 70. Picture at HowSuffWorks. As others I'm sure I wish I'd had sense enough to keep....Show more

Jestine Osumi: older

Chanda Wittwer: Newer

Mikel Bethay: newer cars under 10 years old, but I agree with you, there is nothing like a mint condition classic to look at.

Donovan Stallons: The newer cars look too fat or too "concept" for my liking. The older ones are more sleek in the looks department .

Ileen Oshell: Older cars take the cake, without doubt. Car designs today have really generalized, and don't hold the uniqueness and individualism they used to (if that's a word.) You can notice definite area's in which Chevy and GMC have integrated designs from Ford, especially in there newer trucks. Not to mention, everythings plastic these days. I like the ole beaters that don't crumple when you get into a collision... sure, plastic may be! cheap, as well as lighter, but there's a certain degree of comfort der! ived from metal cars; you feel safe and secure. The sound too! I love the rumble of a '69 Stang. Newer Mustangs' stock exhaust is descent, but doesn't compare to the growl of it's forefathers. I'm not sure I like where our automotive industry is going. Everything is electrical and computerized. And I suppose this makes the vehicle most efficient, but I think it leaves more room for error. That's just my opinion. I like newer vehicles as well, but, let's just say my dream car wouldn't be from the 21st century ;)...Show more
