Autumn Vacio: Pediatricians look after young children (up to the age of 18 or 21) and gerontologists take care of adults in their later years (55 and up) but the in-between years are just general practitioners.
Lissette Semon: There is no certain doctor for adults. Its just doctor / M.D. If your looking to be a doctor when your older then choose a specialty like for cancer or eye doctor, ect.. Otherwise you can just stay a nurse and youll be doing the same taking blood doing tests, ect..nothing too hard but youll still need college and you wont be making too much money.
Raymundo Kyser: A GP General Practitioner.
Cassey Hollinghurst: Internist. No specific name until you talk about older people then its geriatrics
Nicolas Cooley: They are called Internist Doctors. Then after 65 some go to a geriatric doctor, but an Internist covers everyone over 21. Good luck and God Bless
Karey Dunken: General practicioner
Boyce Gilhooly: Most doctors, ! unless they're pediatricians, take care of adults over 21. You could be a general practitioner, but they probably deal with some children as well. If you're interested in caring for older people, that's called geriatrics.
