best dental insurance to get?

Dalia Causby: I have had Delta Dental and Metlife. Both were pretty good but you have to check the limits and coverage. If you are buying solo, search the web and compare. Most of them cover the basic routine stuff but if you get into surgery and extractions there can be differences. My delta policy covers routine, xrays, cleanings, braces, and fillings, and some coverage on the bigger items. I used to have Metlife and they covered a lot. I had some wisdom teeth out (4) and my dental and medical paid the bill. Not sure if that is the case now. Be sure to check the fine print. And, the 80/20 pay nonsense that's been rolled out in the past few years....Show more
