Kandi Lough: Well...we decorated our basement w/old LP's. (record albums)...anything we could find. from bruce springsteen to michael jackson. We..picked them up on ebay and at garage sales..super cheap. Looked very cool.Tack them up on the walls...they look colorful and interesting.

August Hubbard: put pictures of your friends, most of the guys i know have pictures of like naked girls on the back of theyre doors , i guess it just a guy thing

True hipsters won't have to ask as they won't really care while their dorm room seems to automatically hipsterize.However, to the point - if you want it to look like a lounge, it's all in the furniture and colors. Get some brightly colored sheets, an organic-shaped chair, and a bean bag. Seek out some nice lights and minature sculptures. It'll look like a lounge in no time....Show more
Toya Braskett: Get some fabric and tack it up on the walls before you put up posters or whatever. Pick something that you think you would see in a lounge (green is a good color to live with) Go through a resale store (Good Will, Am Vets, etc.) and look for solid bed sheets that would make good drapes. It's cheaper than a fabric store. Also resale places have lots of other people's junk which is great for decorating and ideas.
