what school supplies should i get for a preschool?

Andre Winegar: a backpack and some extra clothes in case he has accidents or spills food on them. Most preschools provide all the supplies and will send home a note if anything extra is needed for certain projects throughout the year

Michal Semple: This is exciting news! Your son is starting school. The truth is that children do not need many things in preschool. Preschool is a time to develop early problem solving skills and social skills. It is a time to explore and they best things to have are natural items. I like giving the kids sea shells, sand, branches, leaves and so on. A great teacher takes the lead from the interest of the children and bases the curriculum accordingly. Books and reading time is a must as well as lots of outdoor play. Good luck in preschool!...Show more

Indira Wassell: If it is a state or federally funded preschool the child will have to bring nothing to class. The teachers are not allowed to ask parents for things because some of the! parents are below poverty guidelines criteria and cannot afford to bring things to school. Usually in home based day care or preschool the teacher will have first meeting and tell parents what they need for the children like a change of clothes etc, some may ask for water for emergency and have earthquake materials present in the child's storage area....Show more

Michal Semple: at my daughter's preschool last year they asked for:tissuesbaby wipesa can of sanitizing wipesa change of clothing in a ziplock bag, including shirt, pants, underwear, and socksa picture of her with her familybut if i were you, i would wait until they send you a list. if you need to know now, call them and find out....Show more

Isaias Badgley: Usually the school will send home a supply list. Our school says no supplies needed! We provide everything.

Justin Casten: Call the school and ask for a list. They will be more than willing to let you know what to bring!

Derrick Kloke:! I don't think you really need anything for preschool except a! maybe back pack

Leif Serabia: I work in a nursery in the UK, we ask the parents to provide nappies, wipes, nappy (diaper) cream, spare clothes and depending on the weather, we may ask parents to provide suncream. We often ask the parents to donate unwanted clothes for our spares, and we may ask them to donate empty cereal boxes/milk bottles. But we do send out a newsletter if we want anything. Ask to take your son in for a taster session and ask those questions when you are there.

Tory Clapper: final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days for 4-3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous kindergarten my daughter had to hold issues like Kleenex, a folder, a backpack, a computer, and crackers. There would have been glue, crayons, and scissors on the checklist as nicely, yet i do no longer undergo in thoughts for specific.
