Isreal Kochheiser: Try getting a chew ball or a KONG, it entertains your dog (a KONG is a toy that you fill with peanut butter or jelly/jam, then they struggle to get it out so they are focused for a long time.Get a treat ball, it is a plastic ball that has a small hole that you fill with treats then close it, they try to get the treats out for hours! Don't play with this too often, because if your dog eats too many treats he/she may get fat.If it is a hot sunny day, put on your bathing suit and turn on the hose. You can spray your dog, and yourself. If your dog is scared of getting wet, do not do this....Show more
Ofelia Kieck: i know it sounds silly but just put a dog biscuit in a sockmy dog has a kong and a treat ball too and they are both really good and i definitely recommend both of them, but a biscuit in a sock works just as well! the dog can smell the biscuit but can't work out how to get to it so it really makes them think. of course i do go through a lot o! f socks as she chews through them so i just give her old ones that i have lost the pair to or if i see really cheap socks i buy them!...Show more
Lolita Deschamp: My dog likes to play fetch with old stuffed animals. She also likes playing with the cat.
Rana Rudell: a cat. it can chase it for hours and if it gets it...it gets a meal. win win really!
Sharee Doak: Any thing from the kong company, they are really good toys and they are indestructible, while they might be about 8-10 bucks each, i guarantee that these toys will have a better chance of getting lost then them not lasting. My dog still has one from when she was a puppy, they are fun, they roll, bounce, and you can even hide treats in them. Just think you can buy 5 toys at 2$ a piece that your dog will destroy in a matter of days, or you can buy 1 Kong and they will have it for a life time! :) http://www.kongcompany.com/...Show more
Letitia Bigelow: My little dog loves anything she can pick! up and carry, and turn into something she can get you to thro! w and she can fetch (a game she loves). She has a big collection of stuffed animals meant for dogs. She also loves to play with rope tie. I get a lot of her toys at Petsmart or Walmart.
Peggy Sandefer: Just go to petsmart, I'm sure there will be something good there for your dog.
Kenneth Queener: The kong is a good toy your dog will spend hours at http://www.dog-toy.co.uk/dogproducts/product_image... you just put food in it and your dog spends sometime trying to get it out
Nilda Bafia: My dog loves tennis balls and has gone through so many in her 5 years of living with us. She rips them and loves them so much. She also loves teddy's and snuggles up to them at night. My dog is very fussy when it comes to toys but she adores balls, teddy type things that don't make noises and sticks. Some dogs, like my dog, don't enjoy toys that make noises and some dogs, like mine again are scared of the noise. Don't buy toys with small squeakers as the dog can swallow t! hem. I know a dog who had to have one surgically removed which was a very expensive treatment. You could also make little jumps and teach your dog to jump over them. You would need two chairs and some sort of pole(a pipe for instance) so that it forms a jump. Or you could buy jumps for dogs but they can be expensive. You could buy a book on dog tricks and teach your dog tricks. That way your dog can spend time with you and learn at the same time. This is also a great way to bond. Good luck and I hope I helped. If your dog does get bored even with many different types of toys then you could take him/her to agility classes which are really fun. There your dog can learn how to jump, bend in and out of poles, jump through hoops and so much more.My dog is not interested in kongs and doesnt even look at them but she is picky with toys.Good luck.It took my ages to work out which toys my dog would like. She is rough when it comes to toys so I always buy strong ones. I gave her a ted! dy when she was a puppy her first night in our house because I did not ! want her to get lonely and she still has that teddy now in her basket....Show more
Jeannine Vassie: I have the kong toy and my dog really likes it. Especially because hes into eating lol but kong toy is a good way to get your dog occupied for a while.
