Susan Rambo: im 14 yo girl and i just watched earthlings last week and decided to become a vegetarian. it was really hard for me to gave up on meat but it was worth it! I love animals even if I'm scared with most of them. but am i cruel to be lacto-ovo vegetarian? i consume eggs & dairy products. am i a murderer?
Silvia Stclair: Even when no animal products are listed on the package, it doesn't mean that it is vegan. Manufacturers do not have to list anything on their labels if it is under a certain percentage. I believe it is 1 or 2%. A lot of manufacturers use an egg wash on their pretzels to make them shiny and to get the salt to stick, but because it is less than 1-2% of the product's ingredients, it won't be listed. So unless the package says it is vegan, check with the manufacturer to ensure it is....Show more
Dorinda Metzer: Even meat eaters aren't murderers. I have never heard of someone being convicted of murder for eating eggs or cheese, or chick! en for that matter.
Serena Doak: They just use the honey from the honey combs, at least that's what my mom told me. But I'm sure they wouldn't do that.
Lupe Sancen: So you saw a 100% fake vid that is nothing but propaganda and lies and all its footage is FAKE and you stupidly think its real. You can only murder a human. You can never murder an aniaml. You NEED meat and wont be healthy and wont grow with out it
Porfirio Gartland: Get used to reading the ingredients of every label. Some snacks I usually keep around:Crackers, Back to Nature brand has really good flavors and most are veganHummus, I usually have at least 3 kinds in my fridge Pita chipsCarrot sticks, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms for dippingBagel chipsTortilla chipsYogurt and granolaWasabi peasAvocado with some pepperFrozen fruit for a quick smoothieSome dry dip mixes are vegan, they usually just contain spices. I like to get those sometimes and mix them with tofutti cream cheese and much on it wi! th pretzels throughout the week. You could also just find a re! cipe or create your own spice combo...Show more
Jules Ashbach: Im a vegan too, just eat a lot of nuts and legumes, just as you were doing. You should always have a variety though.
Elvin Mannheimer: It isn't hard to get protein at all. Most people who eat meat, get far too much protein, which is then stored as fat because it isn't used. Seriously, as long as you eat vegetables, some nuts, beans, tofu etc you ill be fine. And whoever said to eat tuna- that isn't vegetarian, let alone vegan. And whoever is all, "I'm so elitist because I eat rotting animals, will have meat rotting in their intestines, because the human body isn't designed to digest it properly. Meat needs an acidic stomach environment to be digested, which is found in carnivores, but humans have more of an alkaline stomach environment, which is perfect for digesting fruits, vegetables, etc. That's why so many people these days have heart disease, our bodies are not designed to digest saturated fats.! ...Show more
Rayford Speziale: No and you are not cruel if you eat meat either. Many of these videos are decades old or shot in other countries where the animal welfare laws are not as strict. Or they are edited in such a way that makes it look like things happen all the time when they don't.
Natalya Sydney: OMG im a vegan too, so its hard to get protien, but what realy has a lot of protien is almonds, dried edamames, all nuts, bananas, and soybeans and tofu, of corse!:P but you should reely eat more nuts than beans:)
Monty Sieloff: No, you are not a murderer, you're just paying other people to exploit and slaughter animals.
Curtis Josef: if its not organic then no
Ninfa Asby: 1
Kate Baune: How about some Hemp Protein!Hemp protein contains all 21 known amino acids including the 8 essential ones your body cannot produce on its own and Hemp protein is much easier to digest than soy protein. You can find hemp protein powder or hemp seeds to h! elp you with your protein needs. You can make hemp milk with the hemp se! eds and add hemp protein powder to your smoothie or shakes.Hope this helps,Kathryn...Show more
Dick Baumgarten: just wondering cause I really like Burts Bees and I know they don't test on animals but they do raise bees and use their beeswax and I heard that most companies that raise bees to use their wax and honey just give them a really cheap sugar replacement that isn't very good for them... but does Burts Bees treat their bees fairly and give back to them?
Rivka Killmer: Are Pretzel Crisps Vegan
Silvia Stclair: I have been getting 100-110 grams at 6 ft , 180#. I eat whole grain bread, nuts and nut butters, legumes. Should I be getting most of my protien from certain places? Like more grains and less beans
Phil Kuarez: you're not fully a murder . you're half of it . half of something is still good and probably soon you'll be able to reach your potential of becoming the full thing
Brice Greczkowski: Bare Essentials no doubt its a great nautral! foundation that suits any skin color and is really great about not making your face break out. the clerks at my sephora store arent allowed to do constellations with the Bare Essentials line, but there are also indivudal stores at malls where they do constellations and sell the product, however i have found that the bare messentials store ( also known as bare minerals) is more exspensive than purchasing at Sephora. Check it out they are wonderful and not TOO exspensive!...Show more
Ulrike Hert: Eat the following: beans, protein bars, meat, protein shakes, meat, peanut butter, trail mix, meat, meat, vetegables, and tuna.
Rufus Plough: In my experience they have always been vegan, but check the label!
Keneth Mailhot: You are supporting one of the most cruel industries on the planet (the dairy industry). You made an amazing step by turning vegetarian though, and I think slowly cutting out dairy would be a great step. Educate yourself more on the dairy and eg! g industries, health, cruelty, environment, everything. Then decide for! yourself ;)
Elissa Curlin: No, no industry or company that uses animals treats them fairly. It wouldn't be possible. A slave is never treated fairly and all animals used by every single industry that uses them are slaves pure and simple. Even without the cruelty and abuse at the top level they are still just slaves being used for whatever we want them to provide for us.Here is a much deeper purely bee based explanation of why products stolen from bee's are not vegan and how bees are exploitedhttp://vegetus.org/honey/honey.htm Anything Burt's (exploited) Bee's makes can be found better and with no animal cruelty at any stage of the process. If you need help finding a particular product veganized let me know and I can try and help....Show more

Vickie Clampett: Pretzels are usually vegan. They're basically flour, water & salt. But, if you're looking at fancier pretzels, it's possible they could have honey or some dairy ingredients. Either way, it's always best to read the ingredients before purchasing, even if it's something you think *must* be vegan.Trail mixes & other snack mixes or just plain nuts are a simple snack. I like the Asian ones with rice crackers & dried peas, ses! ame sticks, etc. And I love raw almonds or tamari almonds to snack on. ! Go to the bulk department of your grocery store. They're cheaper there, and the ingredients are listed on the bins. Fruit is great too, or whole grain crackers, cereal, granola, raisins & other dried fruits, vegan yogurt or "ice cream", sorbet, baked goods, tortilla chips & salsa, air popped popcorn (or some microwave popcorn is vegan, but I think it's usually too salty & kinda gross), simple sandwiches like pb & j, raw veggie sticks, etc. etc. Oh, take a banana, slice it in half lengthwise (not completely in half, but like a hot dog bun is cut), fill the center with peanut butter, then peel it & stick it in the freezer for a few hours. After it's frozen, slice it into discs & oh yum. :) There are tons of things you can snack on. You just have to get used to reading ingredients. :)...Show more
Mitchel Demry: Oh, yes, totally. All their bees are volunteers who generously give away the honey they work so hard to make.~eyeroll~
Hilde Heskett: No. Pretzels are made w! ith chicken parts. If you want a vegan snack you should enjoy the wholesome goodness of carrot sticks. Carrot sticks are a very nutritious snack that is vegan safe.
Tobie Oshea: Being a vegetarian is a lot less cruel than not being one. so good for you!You can also become even less cruel. Think of it as a process or a journey and you have just made the most important step: the first one. Why not think about what other things you can do to reduce the amount of animal cruelty? Do you drink milk? Switch to a plant milk. That's pretty easy.
Adan Stribble: I can't say for sure with that company, but many companies who produce honey over work the hives which leads to die offs of the bees, it's doubtful you will ever find an organic wax based product that does not do that.Sorry :( I know you may not want to hear it but it's true. You could always switch to a synthesized product.(In regard to the person who said "If it's organic" they could not be more wrong, in fact it ! being inorganic in this case means it has a significantly lower chance ! of harming animals. If it's synthesized from chemicals animals aren't used. If it's collected from animals organic and natural product animals are used.)...Show more
Carter Edstrom: Yes, vegan!
Mercedez Trabue: another option would be BREADSTICKS! Healthy and delicious!
Patricia Dornbos: UUUGGG!! You new wanta be vegans make me nuts!!
Mickey Isle: to be honest you dont need protein. You need amino acids. When your body takes in protein it just breaks it down into its amino acids and builds its own protein for its body. So skip a step and just take in amino acids.
Jonathan Schlussel: No, you aren't cruel for eating those things. Dairy products come from animals, but you don't have to kill them to eat them so you're fine eating dairy. As for the eggs, they aren't fertilized. Chickens lay eggs regardless of if they are fertilized or not and factories don't provide roosters to do so. The eggs from grocery stores don't have baby chickens in them.! Neither dairy products or eggs are products that require killing an animal to get them, so i'd say you're fine. Also, don't call yourself a murderer just because you eat meat. Animals all over the world eat meat, including humans. It's just the way of life, animals eat other animals to survive. We humans are lucky because we can choose to eat meat or animal products or not. But either way, you're not a murderer, you're just a regular being trying to survive....Show more
