Trying to "fill in the gaps" for employment apps/ Resume?

George Dingeldein: GO to school's career office, there should have someone to help you rewrite your resume. You listed the reference at your question section, not the employment history. The employment history should be company name, your job title and job descriptions/responsibilities. Not employer's phone number. As a full-time student, it is a lot to be said when there is a gap. You can say that you are concentrating on your schooling, or you are helping out with your family doing something at the lagged time. The important thing is "rewriting" your resume and make good job descriptions and responsibilities. Or go to bookstore or library, there are tons of "resume" samples for you. And based on the economy the way it is now, 5 to 6 months to find next job is normal, so be creative and be consistent. Find a job through known friends or campus jobs. Good luck!...Show more

Maritza Ebanks: The best practice is to tell the truth. If an employer checks and find y! ou lied, you haven't got a chance in hell to be hired.
